ABOUT ADVERTISING

I found this advertising, yesterday, when I was in the subway. Posters cover walls of the metro station.

With 5 words and simplicity, Gandhi's life is completely summarize.
"Le point de vue le plus simple est toujours le meilleur"
"The easiest point of view is always the best"

Charles CHAPLIN "My Autobiography"
In an advertising/artistically side, I find it successful.

Advocate-Lawyer

Philosopher

Resistance fighter

Diplomate

Peace keeper

People are full of human resource

Now, concerning the use of the image of Gandhi by a company, I can understand the polemic.
But, given I'm always searching the positive aspect in adversity, I prefer just concidering the artitic side of it.

By the way, what is the link between GANDHI and CHAPLIN, randomly?

They are both principal characters of movies directed by Richard ATTENBOROUGH.

Two interesting and talented filmed biographies. If you haven't already seen them, find the DVD.

MY OWN CITY GARDEN

Just a few picture of our balcony, waiting for Spring time.

Bluebells and Jonquil

Mini Rosebush waiting for its flowers

Strawberry plant to show my children how fruits grow. We only get 10 little strawberries a year! But funny to see those little white flowers become red fruits.

Mint leaves are reapearing, that's a good indication. An azalea from the previous year

That's for outside.

Inside, I get a lemon tree which never have given a lemon, but its leaves smell lemon. I get it by throwing lemon seeds in a pot full of ground. They germinated. Then, it's a plant.

An orchid, nature is perfection, look at this color!

ONE OF MY THREE MOST BEAUTIFUL REALISATIONS

Yesterday, it was Olivier's birthday. Thirteen years.

All of us love your beautiful mind, your sense of friendship, loyalty.

We simply love you, infinitely, and for ever.

'Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?'

Here, a present from my daughter : his little brother's falsified picture.
A kind of Dorian Gray mystery.

PICTURES OF HOLYDAYS

On the Italian side of the border ; VENTIMIGLIA , the "little sister of Menton". Architecture and foundation are the same. Their principal church overlooks the 2 cities. Both cities are encircled by the sea at the South, and montains at the North.

At this time of year, Ventimiglia is preparing Pâques (Easter).

Who do you think has won at this game?

Game over, Olivier, your shoes are wet now.

Nature wins for sure. Never overestimate yourself, Olivier.

75th Lemon feast of Menton, each February.

"For real" in the city, every where orange trees

Also Mimosa

And palm trees every where.

What a chance to have one big brother

and one big sister
