SKY WATCH FRIDAY # 25

Cocorico ! Cock-a-doodle-do !

Way back that roosters doesn't sing anymore in the vines or wasteland of the village of Montmartre. Since it makes part of the city of Paris, Haussmann, the French renovator of the Capital, stuck them on roofs. Dumb and indecisive, they're no more than shades in the sky.

Let me share with you our each day weather since last Friday (28th of November) until Thursday 4th of December. From left to right.

To watch more Skies, visit other Sky Watchers, with a little bit of chance, you'll find sunny places, ......or snowy ones, it depends on whom you visit. SKY WATCH FRIDAY # 21

Here, the Sky as we saw it on Thursday evening.

Some light decorations in our arrondissement.

Light is blue because France took the presidency of European Union for 6 months.

If you want to watch our Eiffel Tower by night in blue too, go and visit my forever friend Carole.

She caught it not for 6 months but for eternity.

To see more pieces of sky; visit Sky Watch Friday, and join the team Sandy, Louise, Klaus, Ivar, and IMAC.

Happy Thanksgiving to all families who celebrate it.

SKY WATCH FRIDAY # 19

I use the occasion of Sky Watch Friday, to share with you an information I've learnt these last days.

One of the skippers of 'Le Vendée Globe' (A sailing race around the world, for singlehanders, without any stopover) told before begining the race that 2008 was a 13 moons years. And that meant weather wouldn't be favorable.

13 moons/a year = Bad weather.
I didn't pay attention of these informations before.

So I wanted this evening to propose you 4 of these 13 moons. Just look at them as they are, I'm not a professional photographer, Imagine they were many times more attractive.

man has passed that way before.
There are no channels marked. The flier

"Le monosyllabe a une étrange capacité d'immensité: mer, nuit, jour, bien, mal, mort, oui, non, dieu." Victor Hugo

"Monosyllable gets a strange capacity of breadth : sea, night, day, good, evil, death, yes, no, god." Victor Hugo
The Sacré-Coeur of Montmartre, viewed from a window at the backstairs of our house.

SKY WATHCH FRIDAY # 11

One night in Menton.

I invite you to make a wish.
Je vous invite à faire un voeu.

“Every one is a moon, and has a dark side which he never shows to anybody”

"Chacun est une lune, et possède un coté sombre qu'il ne montre jamais à personne."

Mark TWAIN

So, I decided to show you the bright side, no Doctor Jekill is invited on this blog!

Do you get an expression as 'Mr or Mrs Everybody'? I am Mrs Everybody, I get no professional, neither particular camera, so my picture is a little bit blurry. So, just imagine what spectacular sight, in real, was in front of my eyes, that particular evening.

Have a great week-end. To reach the immensity, go and travel from one sky to an other. The departure is at SKYWATCH FRIDAY hosted by Sandy, Tom, Imac and Klauss.
