Menton Old town (France)
Ventimiglia (Italy)
To the question waht are the common points : one is tempted to answer : the bycicles. Yes, I know, I put them here to mislead you. (just joking)
Too simplistic as answer.
In fact, this village and town share an atmosphere.
Washing that flies in the wind and that smells good. I know, it sounds like a bad advertising slogan, but here, you get the idea.
Italian words singing in the chats of the people I pass.
Archways, as secret paths between two alleys that connect them together from where these voices are ringing out.
Irregular cobblestones and steps that take you in a maze. No matter, as you're here to lose you.
Plants that every owner displays at his door, windows or hangs up on the stone walls in an inextricable mess.
Maybe, I've forgotten some details. I'll write about it later, when they'll come back in mind. If you have enough about about Menton and its surroundings, just come back later in the month, because, I don't get tired watching all this.
