Pure monochrome, no changed colors.
Blurry shadows against the cold Sky.
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider's web. "Pablo Picasso

Starlings and a crow... ? Very familiar sight around here, though the crows are the Northern Hooded Crow and built a little heavier.
RépondreSupprimerThey make a good picture and the conditions a good mono.
Catherine, great mono shots! My monochrome Monday goes up on Wednesday! :)
RépondreSupprimerIt's time for a rest for starlings & a crow. The photo its cool & natural. Thanks for visiting my MM.

RépondreSupprimerJ'aime bien ces silhouettes sur le ciel un peu violet. Un très beau effet.
RépondreSupprimerles oiseaux d'Hichcok qui attaquent la télévision. belles photos, très angoissantes ;o))
RépondreSupprimerI love these shots. I have been trying to get a "birds on a wire" shot for weeks. Good catch. I love them.
RépondreSupprimerGreat silhouettes, Catherine. There's something about crows that's spooky..
RépondreSupprimerGreat entry & to have an natural monochrome is so enviable!
RépondreSupprimerLovely photos. I love the title! It seems very apt.

Very interesting. I love birds on a wire or antenna. Next year antennas will be mostly obsolete in the US.
RépondreSupprimerI like how those birds are lined up in the bottom photo, Catherine. They look orderly ... very nice.
RépondreSupprimerThat is cool...but very spooky Hitchcock like.
RépondreSupprimerI've gotten shots that didn't really require conversion before, but rarely do I see them this monochromatic.
RépondreSupprimerI love the mood of this shot. It actually looks cold.
Very nice shot of the resting black birds. Let me see now, enough for a pie? Four and twenty? Wonder if somebody was having television reception problems?
RépondreSupprimerI'm so late returning your kind visit! Yes, it seems we were both looking at the same kind of thing.
