  2. Beautiful shots. I love browsing those stalls. Years ago some French colleagues even brought me a magnet with an artist's rendition of a used book stall.

  4. Bonjour, Catherine,
I started to leave a comment on your SkyWatch pic, which I love, but this was less crowded. I like these, too.

I answered your question about enlarging pics on my blog, and said I was going to copy and paste it here, so here goes:

First, I go ahead and put my pics in the body of the post. Then, I click on the blue colored tab on the upper right, called "edit html". There will be a bunch of letters, and the size of each pic will show up as something like "width: 400px; height: 300px". I've noticed that the pics are not always the same size, but I go ahead and put in the numbers another blogger taught me to. I change the first number to 640, and the second to 480. Once, I had a pic that was vertical, so I reversed the numbers.

I think there are other ways to do this, but I don't know them. If I have a bunch of pics, I need to preview them to see if I've gotten them all enlarged. Sometimes I'm disappointed because the pics turn out grainy looking to me.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions. Fishing Guy, or anyone else who happens to read this, do you have other ways to have larger pics on your blogs?

    Hugs,
    Sue

  10. Catherine, these are lovely monochrome pictures. Notre Dame Cathedral is always a splendid view, and in B&W is even better.
I remember a magnificent Easter Mass in Notre Dame with an unforgettable powerful organ music. The bouquinistes are so interesting too!

  14. Happy to say I've been there...but many years ago. Sadly only one grainy snapshot to memorialize the event. I'd love to return now that I am a photo buff. These shots give such a peaceful feeling...captures the essence of the place well.

  17. I am so impressed by your photographic skills. These pictures are very dramatic, and I'm sure wouldn't look as good in color, because as you probably well know, there is tons of character in black and white photography. Great work!!
