It reminds me a poem of Paul Verlaine:
(Translation of G. Hall, 1947):
The sky-blue smiles above the roof
Its tenderest.
A green tree rears above the roof
Its waving crest.
The church-bell in the windless sky
Peaceably rings
,A skylark soaring in the sky
Endlessly sings.
My God, my God, all life is there,
Simple and sweet.
The soothing bee-hive murmur there
Comes from the street.
What have you done, ô you that weep
In the glad sun,
Say, with your youth, you man that weep,
What have you done?
This is a very fine picture. The sky is varied and splendid over the town and those people well colour the scenery.

RépondreSupprimerVery beautiful this picture, congratulations
RépondreSupprimerSacre coeur is a wonderful place. Usually when I´m in Paris it has been the middle of scorching July and I´ve been totally wrecked when I reached the top!
RépondreSupprimernice poem but way too deep for me think on too long. ;o)
RépondreSupprimerLove the sky pic, though.

RépondreSupprimerBeautiful SkyWatch photo! I love Paris. I was there about 6 years ago! Lovely place and so much culture and history... Mixed memories but basically all very good.
RépondreSupprimerI have four children,(all in their early twenties), so I know times can be very busy for you now. Anyway, you said, if we left a comment, that you'd respond, so I hope that you do!
