A picture I posted a few weeks ago, but in its colored version. As this bus is an antiquity, Black and white seems perfect for it, to go back in the 50's.
If you're interested to watch more Monochrome pictures, I propose you to visit Aileni at Loose Ends and from here, many other Monochrome Maniacs.
Whe in B&W you really see the bus and not the colour - if you see what I mean.
RépondreSupprimerCatherine, that's amazing, it really does look like an old photo. My husband is a 1950's model maybe I should take a photo of him too! Debs x
RépondreSupprimerit looks so old. wonderful capture
RépondreSupprimerI remember the colour one. I think I really like this B & W, it is such a classic photo and prompts so many memories.

RépondreSupprimerIt really does look as if you shot it in the 50's .. that feeling is helped along by those older model cars alongside ...

RépondreSupprimerOh ... what a beautiful antique bus! Yes, B/W is perfect choice for this photo. Is the bus still functioning?

That is a lovely old bus.
RépondreSupprimerI love the U2 song too.
This is indeed perfect for black and white. Great shot of the bus.
RépondreSupprimerThis bus is fantastic.... so 1950's
RépondreSupprimerLovely b/w capture!
RépondreSupprimerI understand what Aileni says, and your bus is beautiful in monochrome. Perfect.
RépondreSupprimerCatherine, c'est vraiment une très belle photo en noir et blanc, approprié pour l'ancien autobus.
RépondreSupprimerLovely black and white format for this old looking bus; it fits!

I agree it is a good shot in color but in B&W it seems to be timeless
RépondreSupprimerI like that - it's perfect in black and white.
RépondreSupprimerThat's only a 50's vintage bus? I would've guessed it was older than that. Maybe as old as 30's.
RépondreSupprimerBut yes, B&W suits it much better.
It looks so perfect that I can imagine Jean-Paul Belmondo storming out of it smoking Gauloises with some twiggy ladies tailing him.
