HAVE YOU STILL A CHILD ' S MIND ?

Last week, we went to the Boulevard Haussmann where are the 2 main depatment stores in Paris : Les Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps.
At this time of year, they showcase the magic of Christmas.
Better than words, look :
LE PRINTEMPS
very class with oits black-yellow-silver-and gold decorations
An upside down Christmas tree, hooked on to the ceiling.

GALERIES LAFAYETTE

the pink and purple version, the giant CHRISTMAS TREE

After seeing all these wonderful decorations, I wish you to make sweet colorful dreams. Do not forget that the waiting is an important part of the magic.

In a following post, I'll show you the animated-toys in the windows. Spoiled children!

I remember very well the Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps as I went there with my aunt many many years ago. These stores are so comfortable and pleasant!

  12. Beautiful! But it's not even THANKSGIVING YET! What happened to the thrill of waiting in anticipation for the post-turkey day unveiling of the wonders of Christmas. I miss it! Pretty soon they are going to leave everything up all year round, taking it down only to dust it off and put it back sometime in August since there are no other holidays then. AACK!

Ok. I'll quit whining now. ;0)
