MY NEIGHBORS ARE RESOURCEFUL OR NUTS

This is the view from my window at the building on the other side of the street.

Don't you notice something weird.

What? The weather ? Not the ideal weather for a Sky Watch picture.

At my neighbor's window.

Watch carefully her window-boxes.

No, you don't see.

You want me to zoom in ?

Non. Vous ne voyez toujours pas ?

Vous voulez que je zoom ?

Here, it is.

You see know.

The reflection of my own window and my balcony on her glass-window. No, just kidding.

You see now, what we use as scarecrow.

To scare little birds.

And her brown hair friend.....

That's parisian life, very sophisticated.

Mattel can switch to a new type of production.

  5. Hey Catherine, you inspired me to post a diametrically opposed scarecrow, with a link to yours.
But mine story is sad, while yours is hilarious.

  10. LOL, that IS great fun, Catherine! What a brilliant idea, I've never seen that before! I think they are resourceful (AND a bit nuts), the plastic dolls won't decay, and maybe the children don't want to play with Barbie and Ken anymore. So use them as scarecrows. Why cloths? The neighbour needs a zoom to see them (-:
About immersing: I would suggest let's immerse in summer, not it is definitely too uncomfortable, maybe we could do it together next summer!

  11. My girls won't let me do that. They love their Barbies. It's a bit nut but funny, too.

    ;)

  14. That is too funny! do you really use them as a scarecrow or did some too busy children leave them outside. Now...if they really work to scare away the birds, I'll be putting them in my garden next year!

  18. Ha, That is hilarious. I've always been a little scared of Ken and Barbie myself. The building is quite beautiful and the "scarecrows" add a great humorous touch.

  20. I vote for nuts, myself! That is just too weird to not be funny! :)

  21. Actually I think the brunette is Skipper... isn't she like Barbie's kid sister or something?

Truly you have amusing neighbors. I'm pretty sure that sight would scare me out of the window box!

  22. I wonder if birds care about scarecrows that are smaller than birds. Still funny though.

  23. This has to be the funniest post.
    Well spotted, Catherine..

  24. Barbie, always the anomaly. She is the career woman with everything, but more often than not she is without even the clothes on her back.
