I've changed colors in B&W because of the red chimney. Otherwise, it would have been posted in natural grey Monochrome
Snowy yesterday
Chalk strokes on the slate blackboards of the town.
A white squibble in the air.
And a traffic jam on the ground.

Wonderful winter picture with snow flurry!
RépondreSupprimerYesterday we have snow too.
In the sidebar of my blog is a translator from Yahoo for English and French.
Bonjour Catherine,
RépondreSupprimerYour windows and roof tiles look lovely in b/w, we are getting more snow right now.....
We had this sort of scene this morning - then it rained... and I mean RAIN. No white stuff left - hurray!
RépondreSupprimerBeautiful winter scene!
RépondreSupprimerI love watching snow fall - as long as I'm safely ensconced in a nice warm room!
We still have had no snow, just rain. It's a lovely wintery city scene. Makes me want to wrap up warm with a hot chocolate.
RépondreSupprimerI love the effect of the snow on the buildings in monochrome. Great shots.
RépondreSupprimerBrilliant winter photo, perfect for black and white.
RépondreSupprimerThese are perfect! And those are some big flakes too! Love the way they "streak" across the frame, just a little.
RépondreSupprimerOh...look at all that snow. It looks very nice in monochrome.
RépondreSupprimerStormy weather - perfect for b&w. Happy to report our big snow and ice of the last ten days is just about all gone. Hurray!
RépondreSupprimerLovely B&W shots. We had some snow last week, but now all washed away... Must say I prefer snow over rain this time of year.
RépondreSupprimerLove these photos! Very soft and beautiful! Makes me wish I lived in the snow--even for a couple of days.
RépondreSupprimerBisous a tous!
Wonderful shots, I love the snow against the building.
RépondreSupprimerYou did capture your snow fall well.
RépondreSupprimerI haven't made a b&w photo since some decades, but it's true that these days even colour photos have a tendency to come out b&w! We had a gathering of old colleagues in Paris this weekend; not everybody was able to join because of the heavy snowfall. We have a new one in September, hopefully without snow!
RépondreSupprimerExcept for the fact that the storm and snow itself probably wasn't that nice, the pictures turned out awesome!
RépondreSupprimerI love the motion in them!
Perfect in monochrome. Did the snow last long? You'll be glad to hear that at last our weather is improving...hope it will stay fine for you..
RépondreSupprimerNice in B&W. Snow takes on magic in monochrome. ;-)
RépondreSupprimerNice snow fall effect.
RépondreSupprimerCatherine, c'est bien! You caught the snowflakes too! Love it! Thqanks for visiting me! :)
RépondreSupprimerPerfect capture of a snowy day
RépondreSupprimerSnow in Paris is a very unusual sight to see! You've captured the weather's power. It is really streaming down!
RépondreSupprimerPerfect winter picture,beautiful.
RépondreSupprimerThanks for the visit of my monochrome & have a nice day.
I love your snowy shots - natural monochrome scenes.
RépondreSupprimerThose chalky streaks against the dark facade of the building make a wonderful composition. It reminds me of the winter I had in north America.
RépondreSupprimerA very nice choice for the Monochrome Monday, Catherine.
Beautiful snowy ones !
Oh how pretty! We haven't had much snow this year....but lots of ice and cold rain!
RépondreSupprimerI love your photos! They even have the snow! Thanks for stopping by my place. Have a great evening!
Sherrie
