MOULIN DE LA GALETTE

Flâner dans les rues pavées de Montmartre.
Monter, toujours monter.

Roaming around, alond the cobbled streets of Montmartre.

Climbing, always climbing.

Crossing the Lepic street.

An imporbable windmill stands up at the top of the Montmartre downs.

It resists to the hardships of the time, to show the past glory of the area.

Laughs don't resound anymore through the Guinguette in the dancing room.

Painters' Inspiration source .

Van Gogh - Renoir

Toulouse Lautrec - Van Gogh

  9. Nice to see this! There is so much to say about this moulin and I have also made some posts about it. Only a pity that it now stands on private ground and that you cannot really approach it. At least during the winter months you can see it throught the naked branches!

  11. Carole,
