MONOCHROME MONDAY # 22

Les petits cailloux - Little pebbles around 1967

Maman m'avait demandé de trier les petits cailloux !
Je m'interrrogeais, ....... sérieusement ?
Mom had answered me to sort little pebbles.
I was wondering, ......... was she serious or not ?

This is my participation to Aileni's Monochrome Maniacs.

Starring moi : )

  2. Cute !
    Amazing post!

" Just love. Love your memory of childhood , those thousand and one in purple knees and the first steps of skates.

Love children and dogs and cats of course. Love and celebrate the sunset but more love he was born. Love, love the first one and the second is to love even more.
Love this Sunday in the family. Love all your birthdays!

Love the butterflies, but most love when they fly into you and yes, love... Love others and love your father and your mother all the time..."

  8. Ahhh you are sooo cute i love the little pony tails in your hair. Did you have a nice Easter? DOes chocolate lift your spirits? I like it but I am not a chocoholic like some:) My Easter was good, I missed my kids I did not get to see any of the boys. Some friends had us over for a fun get-together yesterday so that was nice.

  13. Wow... 1967... I'd have been 6 or 7 (depending on the time of year)... and probably tossing little pebbles.

    Or big ones.

And I wouldn't have been nearly so cute doing it.

  14. Hi Catherine :)

This is a very lovely photo bringing memories of the past. You look a bit surprised that your mother is taking the photo. I can see your mother's shadow on the ground.

Many people boast about their knowledge. There is a saying:WE ARE ONLY PICKING PEBBLES ON THE SEA SHORE. Your mother gave you a practical demonstration and a valuable lesson. You can't forget it for the rest of your life. You should also show it to your children and when they boast too much about their knowledge and tell them what they know are only little pebbles and what they don't know is as much as the universe.

This is a very valuable photo and sweet little Catherine made me understand that I know very little and I have to learn a lot. What an eye opener!

Have a wonderful day Catherine :)

  16. Nice image, Catherine. You have chosen it well: your expression is so lovely, in that country road. The photograph has all the charm of the old negatives of the Sixties.
