A TABLE ! - DINNER ' S READY !

Seagulls wish you Good Holidays (as it is written on the trash bag) at the seaside together with them.
I ask for a municipal by-law to forbid the access to the beaches to these birds.
Would you like to share your meal or even your picnic with one of these dirty guests ?They, indeed, look so neat, but, infact, they leave mess on the table, and they absolutely don't clear out.

Euh !

Euh ! Forgive me but you get some ketchup, here, in the corner of your ......... beak..

To be honest, it seems that many gulls get that red stain on their beak.

  3. I do love seagulls and I think they are so pretty. My husband calls them flying rats! When we were in Disney, one took the food right off my nieces tray before we could even sit down and begin to eat!

  11. Oh well ... that's what seagulls are ... They look neat, but don't act neat ... I like these photos though ... You captured them in the decisive moments and tell the story very well, Catherine!

Btw, thanks for visiting and asking, Catherine. I decided to take a break from blogging for a while. Been very busy at work and doing other things.

  14. Seagulls for me is equal to holidays ! When I go each year for a week to my friends in Eastbourne at the English coast, I am always woken up by the seagull's screams ! then I purr like a cat ! and at the beach they attack tourists isn't that wonderful ?

  17. Ha ha ha! They are such a nuisance! Your post was lighthearted but if it were me, I'd be ranting and raving at those silly birds! :-)

I agree with you... and they are very noisy too.

  19. Hi Catherine:)

Lovey photos of the sea gulls. The photos also show how careless people are throwing waste around and spoiling the surroundings. The seagulls look neat and smart among the trash lying around there.

The sea gull pulling the cloth seem to tell us that we are well come to come there to have a good time but please don’t leave waste lying around.

This is the first time I am having a close look at the sea gull’s red tipped beak at close quarters.

Your narration is very humorous. What is life without a little laugh?

    Wish you all happiness Catherine:)

  20. What a perfect photograph. You really captured the moment, Catherine. Super! I see I'm not the only one to call seagulls 'rats' - what a mess they make. Love the photos.

  22. There were so many seagulls flying over my school at lunchtime when I was young. We did enjoy them at all.
I, however, have really enjoyed your pictures of them. Great photos.

  23. I agree totally with you about the seagulls. We are not far from the waters of Long Island Sound, and the favorite eating spot for these pests around here is McDonald's and Burger King. They seem to favor french fries, and many ignorant people like to feed the birds...

  25. Me too! I've always called them flying rats! I wonder why they get that red stain on their beak.... hmmn... I'm going to google it! ((Hugs))
